For the most part it works just like the normal SP game. There is no AI traffic, just other players on the road. You have to watch out for the kids who like to bomb around crashing into everyone else (in both trucks and cars), but mostly folks are just trying to make their deliveries without damage; some are more courteous on the road than others. euro truck simulator 2 & american truck simulator: 1.41 update with the convoy multiplayer mode is here! Jord77665 Oct 8, 2015 @ 6:15am. There is no traffic because people would crash into it. Easiest way is to have everyone link their Profile to World of Trucks. Then everyone open the External Contracts list at the same time. Each person should have the same, or nearly the same, list of jobs; same cargo, origin and destination. And make sure you are all in the same town:) Just don't use any profile which was created when those DLC were active. Creating a new profile with just the base game will work fine but as you already found out, trying to use your main profile causes errors due to the missing DLC. Having said that, you can still play MP with your friend(s) while you have map DLC that they do not. 6nt8.
